Search Mode

Search mode is a default pane layout designed for searching. When search mode is active, any layout changes you make will be saved.

Note: You do not have to be in search mode to use the Search Pane or the Search Results Pane.

To enable search mode

• Select Switch to Search Mode under View in the main menu. Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+~.



Note: You can only switch to search mode if you are in design mode.

To revert to the default search mode layout

• While in search mode, select Reset Search Mode layout under View in the main menu to go back to the original search mode layout. If you select this option, all the modifications you made to the search mode layout will be lost.



Note: You can only reset the search mode layout when you are in search mode.
